To achieve the ultimate shoes with the highest wearing comfort, we at The Coast make no compromises on quality. That's why all our shoes are handcrafted from start to finish by true artists and masters of shoemaking in the Italian Marche region. The Marche region is known as the best and oldest shoe-producing region in the world and has a large network of artisans who use time-honored production techniques that have brought Italy to the forefront of luxury shoe manufacturing. Our production partner is a family business with generations of experience in shoemaking.

Behind every pair we make is a craftsman who pays attention to every detail in the production of our shoes. Each pair is given its own distinctive and limited identity. As a rule, only 30 pairs of shoes are produced per design, which gives them a very exclusive character. With this awareness, we create a unique shared moment of happiness: the happiness of our shoemakers to have created something extraordinary, and the happiness of our customers to wear an extraordinary shoe for a carefree joy of life.
SPECIAL FEATURES
All our shoes are chrome- and chemical-free, making them wonderful to wear barefoot. Furthermore, our shoes have many other special features:
We deliberately make our sneakers from full-grain calfskin because, due to its properties, it is the best material for shoes. The protective breeding standards and strict ecological regulations in Europe make a big difference in the quality of the leather.
Leather consists of collagen, a protein that forms a three-dimensional fiber structure
that allows for thermal insulation, which is beneficial in any weather.
Thanks to its breathability, leather absorbs foot perspiration and releases it
throughout the day, keeping the foot dry.
Full-grain calfskin has a tighter grain and a denser fiber structure, making it more durable than other types of leather. It becomes more beautiful with age and develops a rich character through its natural patina.
Calfskin is soft, smooth, and lightweight. Thanks to collagen, it is elastic and conforms to the foot over time. This means that your shoes will fit better and better over time, which has a positive effect on your posture and joint health.
For our sneakers, we exclusively use leather soles and solid rubber soles from controlled rubber cultivation, as they are lightweight, durable, and flexible. They also offer excellent shock absorption. To increase durability, our craftsmen hand-stitch the side walls of the soles to the upper leather of our shoes.
